Project Kickoff is a key point in the project lifecycle. This is when the project team and leadership all come together to get on the same page and start the project. This training will focus on understanding the materials needed for a successful kickoff for your rural recovery housing project. Closing Your Project - The Project Management Training Series outlines the essential steps, tools, and templates to build a successful recovery housing or other projects. This training will focus on closing out your project. It will review documentation and how to handle the last steps before you have completed the implementation of a Rural Recovery Housing Project. SWOT Analysis is a strategic tool organizations use to identify their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and 'threats.' The tool is a way to help a rural recovery house board agree on what they do best now and develop strategies for the future. This course covers the basics of SWOT Analysis and the basics of using the tool.

An Introduction to NARR Levels of Recovery Housing

The National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) defines four levels of recovery housing, with each providing varying levels of support and structure. These levels are not a rigid step-down continuum, but rather they meet the needs of individuals as they move through their recovery journey and support them as their circumstances change. This course provides an overview of the levels to help new owners and operators decide the support they wish to provide to residents. Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to: Define each Level of Recovery Residences; Recognize the primary differences between the Levels of Recovery Residences; Identify the Level for their new or existing recovery residence.

Developing a recovery house can be an overwhelming venture. These courses explore different aspects to consider when you start planning recovery housing development. An Introduction to the 12-Steps as a Recovery Pathway: This course provides a brief overview of the 12-steps' history and how it is used as a recovery pathway. The course is not intended to promote any particular fellowship or recovery pathway, nor is it intended as a substitute for individual participation. Why Evaluation Matters: This course shows the importance of collecting data on a rural recovery house and how it can improve your house. Find out why evaluation matters to your rural recovery house, what data is the most valuable to collect, and how to evaluate and use the data you secure. Coordinating Care: Treatment Plans: This course will review how a rural recovery house can implement treatment plans for residents. While traditionally a part of clinical settings, rural recovery houses can benefit from establishing goals with residents based on their needs. How to Solve Funding Problems with LIHTC: Some folks want to build larger recovery housing units. If that's you, or even if it's not, you may be interested in knowing about Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). LIHTC may help your organization build a recovery house as part of your community's ecosystem. This course explains what LIHTC is and how it can be used in recovery housing development.
